You can take the girl out of Kansas, but you can’t take Kansas out of the girl.

Even though Alice has visited seven countries on three continents, including a short stint living in Paris, she still pulls from her Midwestern roots. Alice says, “To get to the heart of business matters, you have to use your heart.” Alice draws from the Heartland by remembering that the right solution may take a lot of hard work, but that there is immeasurable pride after a long day in the field.

For 12 years, Alice has applied her organizational and design skills to solve many business challenges. She provided leadership and execution for a myriad of clients, including Gables Luxury Apartments, Cingular, American Cancer Society, AutoTrader.com, VeriFone and Wachovia.

Alice’s design leadership has been recognized by awards for work on American Cancer Society’s web site, cancer.org, and AutoTrader.com’s personalized experience, MyAutoTrader. Her creative vision and execution drove the large MyAutoTrader team to a successful launch of the inaugural release of MyAutoTrader.com. Three usability tests helped the team achieve in-market success. Market research scores ranged from 98-100 in areas ranging from ease of use to brand consistency.

Most recently, Alice created the end-to-end design for Gables.com, including a Search Engine Optimization guide that will increase the search engine ranking for the site. Alice is currently working on improving Qwest.com’s business-to-business user experience.
