Situation   Specialty Tile represents the most respected and innovative tile manufacturers in the world and the most technically advanced setting systems to create high-end tile installations. Their work can be seen all over the world from a high-end car dealership in Atlanta to a mosaic at the London Airport. Their website, although impressive due to their remarkable level of work, was dated and associated the work to a certain point in time. Specialty Tile wanted a site that focused solely on the stunning imagery of their final products and did not reflect the date and time the work was done.

Solution   Merge completely redesigned and restructured the site to allow Specialty Tile’s amazing work to speak for itself. Merge created a look and feel to the site that was simple and elegant by developing a template that enhanced work on display without overshadowing it. Specialty Tile’s gallery of work was broken down by industry, and showcased a variety of images allowing potential customers to be wowed by their capabilities. The redesign transformed a dated, static site into an engaging experience enabling visitors to find inspiration for their own homes and workplaces, as well as locate manufacturers that have the right products for their projects.
